DCMA Expands NES Associates’ Work Scope on Software Development Contract

NES to oversee migration of site content and shared documents onto SharePoint portal . . .

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) has expanded the scope of NES Associates, LLC (www.NESassociates.com) largest software development contract. Through the extension of the Software Development and Environment Support contract, NES will provide support services for DCMA 360/SharePoint, a program that supplies users with a portal for collaborating and sharing documents. NES will oversee the migration of site content and shared documents onto this new SharePoint portal that DCMA contract management specialists across the continental U.S. and International locations use on a daily basis.

As part of these data relocation activities, NES will support Site Managers, assist with configuration support and troubleshooting, implement lists and libraries, perform HTML development, create team and project sites, and handle access control permissions. NES will also serve as DCMA’s point of contact for gathering and presenting new requirements to the governance board for the incremental deployment of new capabilities.

“NES has supported DCMA since 2011 and values this opportunity to continue working in support of their software development and business content migration,” says Vikram Khemani, Program Director of NES Software Services.

From July 2013 through March 2014, NES will continue its support services to CONUS and OCONUS DCMA 360/SharePoint users for post-site implementation requests as part of this non-personal services contract. Using SharePoint related technologies, NES will update DCMA’s web pages and portal communities based on change requests submitted through the Web Change Request (WRS) system.
