NES Associates Wins Recompete Of DLA Video Operations Center Contract

VTC and SV Hardware and Configurations Planning and Implementation . . .

ALEXANDRIA, VA –NES Associates, LLC ( will provide support services for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Video Operations Center (VOC) including the planning, development, implementation and full lifecycle management of the DLA Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and Streaming Video (SV) infrastructure.

Over the next year, NES will plan, maintain, document, integrate and make recommendations to standardize the VTC and SV hardware and configurations. Through the standardization process, NES maintains over 300 VTC endpoints, over 350 desktop VTC clients, gatekeepers, multipoint conferencing units (MCUs), firewall traversal devices and the entire video streaming architecture.

In addition, NES will design and implement the standardization processes and procedures for managing and supporting VTC and SV systems throughout DLA. The support services include oversight of the management platforms, call scheduling and facilitation, break/fix upgrades, documentation and technology refresh of both VTC and Video Streaming.

This firm fixed price performance-based contract was awarded to NES’ strategic partner, Solutions by Design (SBD), as the prime contractor. The period of performance for the DLA VOC contract is a one year base with two one-year option periods and will take place in Columbus, Ohio at the DLA Information Operations Network Operations Security Center (NOSC).
