NES Awarded DISA’s Enterprise Connection Division Technical and Administrative Support Contract

ALEXANDRIA, VA – March 24, 2015 – NES Associates, LLC (www.nesassociates.com) was awarded the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Enterprise Connection Division (RE4) Technical and Administrative Support task order as part of the Global Information Grid Services Management–Engineering Transition and Implementation (GSM–ETI) program.

RE4’s mission is to support America’s Warfighters by approving and monitoring connections for Information Systems and Networks that have been designed, configured and authorized to operate on the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN).

Under this contract, NES supports RE4’s mission by providing cybersecurity expertise to develop policy, procedures and training for DISA’s mission partners who connect to the DODIN. Additionally, NES provides Information Assurance (IA) analyses and security vulnerability assessments, cybersecurity expertise for transitioning from DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) to the Risk Management Framework (RMF), and technical expertise on Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
