Profit Sharing

The NES Profits Interest Plan (PIP) is the most generous profit sharing program in the industry! Every employee receives a stake in NES, with no financial input from the employee. In the event that NES is sold to another company, a minimum of 75% of the profits from the sale will be distributed among all employees with NES at the time of the sale.

Health and Wellness

NES pays 60%-85% of the premiums for all medical, dental and vision plans—including spouse, dependents and partners. See rate sheet for detailed premiums.


We offer three medical plans through Cigna: Open Access Plus with $10 copay and no deductible; OpenAccess Plus with $0 copay and $250 deductible; and Open Access Plus with HSA. Prescription drug coverage is provided through all medical plan options. For employees electing the HSA option, NES contributes 80% ($1,200 or $2,400) of the deductible amount to the employee’s HSA.


Dental coverage is provided through Cigna. The plan provides for twice annual preventative care as well as basic, major and orthodontia services.


Vision coverage is provided through EyeMed. The plan provides for annual eye exams and allowances for frames, lenses and contacts.

Flexible Spending Account

You can take advantage of pre-tax savings for medical and childcare costs. We also offer a limited medical FSA for employees participating in the medical HSA plan.

Our employees have access to a nurse hotline, discounted gym memberships, smoking cessation programs, and organized cycling events.

Time Away From Work

Paid Time Off

NES provide 15 days of paid time off to cover both vacation and sick days. The number of PTO days increases with the employee’s tenure to 20 days after 3 years of employment and 25 days after 6 years of employment.


NES generally follows the 10 federal government holidays.

NES also offers bereavement, jury duty, Family and Medical Leave (FMLA), and military pay.
